TAMAR was born at the Naval Sector in 1976 and has gradually grown up at some other different sectors such as Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Erection, Welding Manufacturing and even the delivery of “all included” works, but always maintaining its Naval Sector infrastructure.

From its origins TAMAR has been improving its infrastructure to adapting to the market demands incorporating facilities, equipment and human equipment suitable for the different sectors in which it develops its activities. Nowadays TAMAR has an installment located at the industrial area of Cartagena, just in front of the Cabezo Beaza Industrial Park, a 12.000 m2 facility including a 3.500 m2 workshop, 700 m2 of main offices, an outdoors storage area in which they can be performed big dimension works and a sandblasting and chemical cleaning area capable to perform any kind of works according to ISO 14001 standards, a certification that TAMAR owns since 1.998.

All these facilities and material means, along with a well coordinated and directed human equipment, have contributed to positioning TAMAR as a leader company within its sector and to be able to compete in an every day more competitive market.
